Learn to build rammed earth from pros, this isn’t a ‘make a small sample and slideshow sales pitch’…it’s the real thing!

We will show you all you need to know to build walls with all the special techniques we normally use.

Whether you want to build for yourself, as a career or just learn for curiosity this gives you valuable experience that you need.

 

This is what we will cover in regards to rammed earth :

  • Foundation fundamentals
  • Material Selection
  • Mix quality control
  • Forming
  • Installation of electrical boxes and conduits
  • Insulated rammed earth methods
  • Wall and sample testing
  • Curing & sealing walls
  • Skid steer operation (Bobcat)

Max Stadnyk who is a sustainable building specialist and consultant will join us and be teaching the “Sustainable Home Building Primer” which will include:

  • Managing your project
  • Job costing
  • Free one on one consultation for your project

Early bird price for our workshop is $1,600 CDN  ( regular price is $1,800)

Deposit of $800 is required for sign up

We had another great time in Barriere this year. The project was to build insulated walls in the garden entrance.
