Rammed Earth Mixing
The skid steer is usually our tool of choice whether we mix on a concrete pad or use a hydraulic mixer. We have used other methods but these are generally the most practical and cost effective for most projects.
Rammed Earth Samples
We carefully select subsoil looking for the perfect gravely sandy mix with low clay content or modify as necessary to create the perfect composition. The process of making rammed earth samples is a discovery process where we play with and adjust the mixture for texture, color and strength. Once our client and us are satisfied with the perfected samples we then prepare cylindrical samples and send them to a lab to be tested for strength to meet our engineers specifications.
